Located next to Tusker House in Africa, Kusafiri Coffee Shop offers baked goods and beverages. A quick bite of muffins, pastries, cakes, with freshly brewed coffee is a simple way to start your day.
The buildings throughout Harambe are very well themed and the Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery is not an exception. The exterior is extremely weathered with cracked walls and faded sky blue paint reminiscent to the buildings of Chefchaouen, Morocco. The electrical is exposed and runs against the building's wall further telling the story of a developing country. Kusafiri's sign reads like graffiti while advertising three other locations in Africa. An open window, covered by a thatched awning, servers up and variety of baked goods and beverages.
There are a few standing room only tables located near Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery but I don't think that is the point of this well themed kiosk. Stop by the window, grab something that will fit in your hand and keep moving. Harambe is constantly buzzing with people coming and going; travelers making their way from one location to the next.
