Browse a health-conscious variety of healthy choices and fresh-baked bread from the world-famous Boudin Bakery. Enjoy scenic wharf-side seating as you dine on crisp salads and hot soups served in delectable bread bowls.

Drop anchor and take a break on the peaceful waterfront at the Pacific Wharf Cafe - a charming counter-service restaurant from Boudin Bakery, the famous artisanal bakery in San Francisco. Soak up the sunny day, watch the ducks float by or toss a penny into the sparkling blue Paradise Bay and make a wish.

Representing the culinary excellence that is the Bay Area, the Cafe's specialties include the Salinas turkey sandwich and the Carmel roast beef sandwich. Warm up with a host of hearty soups, including Monterey clam chowder, Bakersfield broccoli and cheese, Santa Rosa corn chowder and Vallejo vegetarian chili, all served in a sourdough bread bowl made from a secret family recipe dating back to 1849.

Touring Tips

  • For those wanting a lighter meal, 3 Golden State salads are also served in the famous sourdough bread bowl.
  • For the younger generation, the Cafe offers a Kid's turkey wrap and a Kid's POWER Pack - with string cheese, non-fat yogurt, sliced apples and whole-grain "fish" crackers. Both include a choice of beverage.
  • Fresh soups and salads served in large, hollowed-out sourdough loaves from the world-famous Boudin bakery for grown-ups, and comfort foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and mac and cheese for the kids.
  • Don't miss The Bakery Tour, hosted by Boudin Bakery right next to the Pacific Wharf Cafe. Peer through glass walls and discover the 150-year-old secrets that make this sourdough bread so delicious!
  • This is another great compromise restaurant, with food and ambience that adults will appreciate as well as a very kid-friendly menu (burgers, chicken strips, pizza). The real lure for kids? Ice cream! The Pacific wharf serves up a host of specialty sundaes, including the aforementioned, a hefty banana split, and a pastry–ice cream hybrid called the Kilauea Molten Apple Pie.
  • A full view of Paradise Cove and friendly Disney service make this an easy place to gather for a snack, a full-blown meal, or a dessert that won't bankrupt you.
  • Boudin Bakery is San Francisco's oldest continuously running company. In 1849, Boudin was a tiny, old-world shop on San Francisco's Dupont Street. Since then, it has evolved to a world-famous bakery renowned for using the finest ingredients available.
