Touring Tips

  • Ariel's Grotto is fun but very pricey. Kids will love the fact that Ariel and two to four other Disney princesses-Snow white, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, or Belle from Beauty and the Beast-are on hand for pictures and autographs. One set price buys adults a starter soup or salad, main course, and dessert, or a kids' appetizer of celery and carrot sticks with ranch dressing, a main course, and dessert (slices of Granny Smith apples and caramel dipping sauce or fruit parfait). Even toddlers will enjoy the bright surroundings and nonthreatening character visits. Adults can escape upstairs to the Cove, the only full bar in the park, for a cocktail, glass of wine, or bottle of beer. Demand is high here for obvious reasons, so book your reservation early.
  • Choose to be seated indoors or enjoy a closer view of the water and dine on the outdoor patio; Characters visit Guests at all table locations.
  • Upstairs from Ariel's Grotto, you'll find the open-air Cove Bar. Find a seat under the gazebo roof or on the open patio where you can relax and enjoy fresh air and a scenic view of Paradise Bay while sampling delicious appetizers like lobster nachos. Guests 21 and older can sip signature cocktails, beer or wine.
  • The menu has been totally revamped. Dominated by rich pasta dishes, such as the spinach and ricotta agnolotti and mafalde pasta with italian sausage, we're not exactly sure why the menu in such a kid-friendly venue is dominated by rich, more sophisticated recipes.
  • Dining reservations are recommended for Ariel's Grotto and can be made in person for this location on a limited basis. Reservations can also be arranged in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.
