Disney's BoardWalk Villas is a Disney Vacation Club Resort located at the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney's Boardwalk Villas opened on July 1, 1996, as a 1920's-1940's era hotel, overlooking a boardwalk, adjacent to Crescent Lake. The boardwalk and lake offer many shops, restaurants and recreational activities. There are a total of 583 Vacation Villas at Disney's BoardWalk Villas. Disney's BoardWalk Villas capture the charm, whimsy and elegance of turn-of-the-century Atlantic City. These Villas, along with adjacent hotel Disney's Boardwalk Inn, put Guests in a prime location to enjoy the carnival sights and ragtime sounds of the BoardWalk, along with the glittering waters and recreation of Crescent Lake.

Discover the many delights of the 25-acre lake, including watercraft rentals and catch-and-release fishing. Experience more water fun riding the 200-foot-long Keister Coaster water slide at the Villa's circus-themed Luna Park Pool, or make a splash under the spouting trunks of grinning elephant statues. For a more tranquil swim, visit one of 2 quiet pools.

When night falls, take in the lively sights and sounds of midway games and performance artists all along the nearby quarter-mile, Coney Island-style BoardWalk. The illuminated BoardWalk is also a sizzling hotspot for dining, drinking and merriment. Savor celebrity chef Cat Cora's Mediterranean family recipes at Kouzzina, and enjoy award-winning beer brewed on the premises at Big River Grille & Brewing Works—the only working brewpub at Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney's Boardwalk Resort offers many shopping options, both on the Boardwalk and inside the resort. Inside the main lobby on the villas side of the resort is Dundy's Sundries Shop, which sells resort merchandise and basic sundries. On the Boardwalk, there is Screen Door General Store, Disney's Character Carnival, and Thimbles and Threads. These three stores join together to make one large store, which sells resort merchandise, grocery items, Disney merchandise, and more! There is also Wayland Galleries, which offers artwork for sale. On the Inn side of the Boardwalk, there is The ESPN Club Store, also known as the ESPN Yard. The ESPN Yard offers ESPN logo merchandise.

Dining

Disney's Boardwalk Resort offers many dining options both on the Boardwalk and inside the resort. Located on the villas side of the Boardwalk is Big River Grille & Brewing Works, which offers classic American dishes for lunch and dinner. On the Inn side of the Boardwalk is Kouzzina by Cat Cora, which offers Mediterranean dishes for dinner. Kouzzina by Cat Cora also serves an A la Carte American breakfast. Also on the Inn side of the Boardwalk is the Flying Fish Cafe, which offers an A la Carte seafood dinner. At the far end of the Boardwalk (Inn Side) is the ESPN Club, which offers a classic American lunch and dinner. The ESPN also offers over 100 TV screens to watch the daily sporting events.

  • BoardWalk Bakery - Pastries and numerous desserts are sold here. Besides Kouzzina, this is the only other BoardWalk eatery that serves breakfast. Satisfy sweet cravings throughout the day with assorted cakes, pies and pastries fresh from the bakery's oven.
  • Chef's Menu at CoraNation Room - Savor the Greek specialties of a traditional kouzzina, as well as personal favorites of celebrity chef Cat Cora. An intimate 5-course event, The Chef's Menu at CoraNation Room features vibrant Mediterranean flavors, expertly chosen wines and the unique opportunity to interact with the chef as each course is presented. Amid flickering candlelight, delight in fresh seafood and oak-grilled specialties prepared with creative Greek touches that celebrate the chef's heritage. As the perfect complement to each course, enjoy optional wine pairings that include selections from Chef Cat Cora's private label.
  • ESPN Club - ESPN Club at Disney's BoardWalk lets you experience the ultimate in sports entertainment, dining and shopping as you score nonstop sports action. Located at the edge of scenic Crescent Lake, ESPN Club is the most devoted sports club this side of the major leagues. This sports extravaganza makes you feel like you're there as you watch your favorite sport on one of 100 video monitors with satellite feeds. You won't miss a minute of the game–TV monitors are even located in the bathrooms! On big game days, get here early as fans pack the seats in droves to cheer on their favorite clubs.
  • Flying Fish Cafe - The freshest fish and seasonal ingredients are combined with culinary skill to create New American cuisine. Witness sensational creations prepared in the onstage kitchen.
  • Kouzzina by Cat Cora - Celebrity chef Cat Cora celebrates her heritage at Kouzzina—Greek for "kitchen," a casual family restaurant specializing in Mediterranean creations. In Greece, the Kouzzina is the Kitchen — and now you can savor celebrity chef Cat Cora's time-honored Mediterranean family recipes and personal favorites as her casual family restaurant on Disney's BoardWalk comes alive through the sights, sounds and aromas of its fabulous open kitchen.
  • Big River Grille & Brewing Works - Big River Grille & Brewing Works, open for lunch and dinner in Disney's BoardWalk Resort, is a microbrewery (the only working brewpub at Walt Disney World Resort) and restaurant that serves sandwiches, salads, and twists on American pub favorites. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the Big River Grille & Brewing Works restaurant provide a glimpse into the beer-making process. Watch while an on-site brew master crafts the establishment's 5 signature beers.

Touring Tips

  • Disney's Boardwalk Resort is served by Disney Transport bus and watercraft service. Bus service from Disney's Boardwalk Resort serves the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney. Watercraft service from Disney's Boardwalk Resort serves Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Walt Disney World Swan, and Walt Disney World Dolphin. All watercraft destinations are also within walking distance.
  • Disney's Boardwalk Villas offers many recreational activities. The feature pool at Disney's Boardwalk Villas is the Luna Park Pool. The Luna Park Pool is themed after a 1920's - 1940's carnival. The Luna Park Pool features the 200 foot, Keister Coaster Water Slide. Also in the Luna Park area is the Luna Park Crazy House, which is a play area for young children. There is one other pool at the villas. This "quiet pool" is located near Community Hall. Other recreational activities at Disney's Boardwalk Villas include surrey bike rentals and tennis courts.
  • Disney's Boardwalk Resort is home to some great nightlife at the Walt Disney World Resort. First off is Atlantic Dance Hall, which is located at the far end of the villas on the Boardwalk. Atlantic Dance Hall a classic dance hall showcasing great DJ's and bands playing music form the 80's, 90's and now! Atlantic Dance Hall is open to guests 21 years of age and older. To enter Atlantic Dance, you must present a photo-identification. There is no fee to enter Atlantic Dance during normal operating hours. Also on the far end of Disney's Boardwalk Villas is Jellyrolls. Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar that is open most nights at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. Jellyrolls is open to guests 21 years of age and older. To enter Jellyrolls, you must present a photo-identification. There is a fee to enter Jellyrolls during normal operating hours.
  • In addition to all the entertainment of Disney's BoardWalk and Crescent Lake, there's a 24-hour playground, a high-tech game room, bike rentals and tennis. Community Hall offers board games, arts and crafts and more.
  • One-bedroom villas, 2-bedroom villas and Grand Villas (where available) at Disney's BoardWalk Villas include full kitchens that feature a full-size refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, sink, cabinets and coffeemaker.
  • The Muscles & Bustles Health Club is adjacent to Side Show Games Arcade, and is open to Guests at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Inn for a nominal fee.
  • Concierge assistance at Disney's BoardWalk Villas is available to Resort hotel Guests 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Located in the main lobby, the concierge can help you purchase Disney Theme Park and Disney Water Park tickets, make dining reservations and secure show seats, among other services.
  • Side Show Games is a high-tech game room located near the Luna Park area. The air is electric with excitement when you step foot inside this arcade packed with classic favorites and the latest in video gaming entertainment. More video games, many sports-themed, can also be found at The Yard at the ESPN Club.
  • Enjoy 3 pools located on Disney's BoardWalk Villas grounds. Clown around in the water at the Luna Park Pool, where you can take a slipperly ride down the 200-foot-long Keister Coaster water slide, or make a splash under spouting trunks of grinning elephant statues. For a more tranquil swim, visit one of 2 quiet pools, located south of the main pool and on the east side of the adjacent Disney's BoardWalk Inn.
